PayByLink Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary: From PowerPoint Concept to Market Leader in Payment Links

This year, it’s celebration time at PayByLink—we’re marking our 10th anniversary!

Ten years ago, PayByLink started with just an idea, presented in a simple PowerPoint to a potential client. The reaction? “I want this!” There was no working product yet—just a concept on paper. But within three months, the foundation of PayByLink was built—and from there, things took off quickly.

Year after year, PayByLink has grown. The number of payment links sent has steadily increased, and at the start of 2023, we reached an impressive milestone: our customers had collectively collected over €1 billion through our payment links. And the growth didn’t slow down—by mid-2024, the total had already reached €1.5 billion!

This success is not just a milestone for us, but especially for the businesses, institutions, and organizations that use PayByLink. Thanks to our payment links, they receive their payments up to three times faster than with traditional invoices. PayByLink has grown into a thriving company trusted by hundreds of satisfied customers—and we’re incredibly proud of that!

IARMJ Enhances Global Payment Convenience for Refugee and Migration Judges with PayByLink

The International Association of Refugee and Migration Judges (IARMJ) supports approximately 600 members worldwide—including judges and academics—who specialize in refugee, asylum, and migration law. Since 2016, the association has been using PayByLink to collect membership fees and conference payments. Office Manager Liesbeth van de Meeberg explains: “It’s been a breath of fresh air.
